On Christmas Eve, we reenacted the nativity scene. It was really fun to have a "real" baby Jesus this year!
For dinner we had a scaled-down version of the traditional Swedish Christmas smorgasbord - we had crackers, cheese, meat/beef stick, a veggie tray & dip, french bread and jam, and apple cider.
And for dessert, we baked Santa's favorite cookies - peanut blossoms and drank milk.
The kids all got to open their Christmas Eve presents and to no one's surprise, it was pajamas! Amazingly, I got everyone's sizes right. Well, except the dino pajamas. But he kinda likes them small anyway...
After that it was quite easy to get them to bed! Only Sugar snuck out of her bed because she couldn't go to sleep.
